Arranged marriages
SvarSletIn connection with the marriage arranged among Muslim, I am always asked, why do you use arranged marriages? Why do not just young people find their own spouses? What is the role of social status in marriage? All these are important questions that are important for the understanding of the arranged marriage, and they have far more important than the religious aspect of the arranged marriage.
If you have to highlight a religious aspect, so you could say that Islam is the idea of marriage to start a family, have children, enjoy each other's company and live a dignified life. Islam encourages to live in a peaceful, harmonious and happy marriage. Islam wants neither the men nor women should suffer in marriage. But the good marriage occurs only if both parties fully understand the meaning of marriage and understand that it is the beginning of a new life that does not consist only of joy, but also of the duties and responsibilities of both parties. There is actually no specific guidelines for marriage according to the Koran. The marriage come under the civil law and not religious. Marriage requires a contract is signed by both parties in the presence of witnesses, and both bride and groom must consent to the marriage.
